Charity Alice (Hill) York of McKinney, Texas passed away on May 24, 2018 at the age of 43. She was born on January 7, 1975 to John D. and Sylvia (Loy) Hill in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Charity graduated high school in Eagle Pass, Texas and later graduated from the University of North Texas in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in General Studies. She married Billy Don York on May 17, 1997 in Del Rio, Texas. Charity loved to cook and bake, she loved going to the beach in the Bahamas and Hawaii, but most of all she loved her husband and her children. She was a woman of great strength and will be greatly missed and cherished by those who knew her.
Charity is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Billy Don York of McKinney, Texas; son and daughter, Elizabeth and Austin York of McKinney, Texas; parents, John and Sylvia Hill of Nacogdoches, Texas; sister, Kathleen Randall and husband, Shane of Nacogdoches, Texas; brother, Matthew Hill of Nacogdoches, Texas; in-laws, Billy Don York Sr. and wife, Delila of Amarillo, Texas; and many other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Interment will immediately follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for visitation Tuesday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
