IN LOVING MEMORY

Chandler William Fetterolf

Aug 10 1999 - May 30 2017

Chandler William Fetterolf, 17, of Aubrey, Texas, a perpetually kind, intentionally silly teen who loved to make you laugh; passed away on May 30, 2017. He was born on August 10, 1999 to William Eric Fetterolf and Kimberly (Fry) Blythe in Sherman, Texas.  He will grow into adulthood under God's direct care with the help of lost loved ones who have greeted him at Heaven's gate with love.

Chandler had an infectious personality. Always willing to sacrifice himself, he sought out others who needed a laugh or some reassurance. He was a best friend to everyone who knew him. He also had an incredible love for dogs, especially his “Puppers”.

Chandler had a passion for music from a very young age. He started learning his craft at Lakeview Middle School in The Colony, Texas. He developed into an outstanding musician in percussion, playing many instruments, but focusing on marimba and snare drum. He has received numerous awards and honors including being a member of Honor Band of America, Indianapolis, Indiana. Chandler was a member of The Colony High School Drumline for 3 years. He then transferred to Prosper High School, where he was a member of the Prosper High School Drumline and The Mighty Eagle Steel Drum Band. He had dreams of attending North Texas University and majoring in music.

Chandler is leaving behind the gift of life for so many, with the donation of his organs and tissues.

Chandler will continue to be dearly missed by his mother, Kimberly Blythe and husband, John of Aubrey, Texas; father, Bill Fetterolf and wife, Crystal of Sherman, Texas; brothers, Trenton Fetterolf of Aubrey, Texas, Case Rolen of Sherman, Texas; sister, Caitlyn Marshall and husband, Corey of Howe, Texas; grandparents, Patsy Henagar and husband Donnie of Centerpoint, Oklahoma; Mary Blythe of The Colony, Texas; Jean Fetterolf of Sherman, Texas; John Andrews also of Sherman, Texas; niece, Baker Marshall of Howe, Texas; aunts, uncles, cousins, classmates, friends, teachers, community members, and so many more people than he could ever have realized. There is no room for whys, blame, or regrets; just random acts of Chandler (silliness and love). We must all go forward and live. The seeds of love Chandler planted will continue to grow. All who might find healing and closure are welcome to attend services.

A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 5, 2017 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.  Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen.  The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Having known Chandler or the family is not a requirement.

Talking to or hugging the family is optional. There are no right (or wrong) words anyway.

Attire need not be formal or black. Given the option, Chandler would wear skinny jeans and a T-shirt any day of the week.

Do not bring whys – there are no answers.

Do not seek blame – there is nothing and no one to attach it to.

Do not have regrets – Chandler would never want anyone to feel bad.

Tears and sorrow are welcome; but so are laughter, jokes, joy, and especially group hugs.

In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution in Chandler’s honor to one of the following:
