Celina Rochelle Schuetz, age 20, of McKinney, Texas, passed away in an automobile accident with her mother, Catherine Elaine Walker, on August 25, 2017. Celina was born November 26, 1996, in McKinney, Texas, to Major Roy and Catherine (Moreno) Schuetz. She graduated from McKinney North High School where she was in the Color Guard. Celina was a student at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas. She was a GATA girl at ACU and loved to sing both day and night. Celina was a scuba diver. She had a big heart and enjoyed being surrounded by family.
She is survived by her father, Major R. Schuetz of McKinney, Texas; brothers, Ryan Scott Richardson of Denton, Texas, Anthony Michael Earl and wife, Shelby of McKinney, Texas, and James Castro of Austin, Texas; and grandparents, J. Arnold Schuetz and wife, Avice of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Gilbert Moreno of Mesquite, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Elizabeth Moreno.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, September 1, 2017, at First Baptist Church, 1615 W. Louisiana St., McKinney, Texas, 75069. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., Thursday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
