Celina Bueno

Celina (Arizaga) Bueno, age 51, of Little Elm, Texas, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018.  She was born November 15, 1966, in Mexico to Carlos and Celia (Serafin) Arizaga.  Celina married Mariano Bueno, in Los Angeles, California, on January 5, 1997.  She pursued her college degree and worked as a Banker in the banking industry.

Celina enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She loved traveling the world, including Spain, Italy, Hawaii, Mexico.  Celina worked as a talented florist. She enjoyed working with flowers and people.  She was always telling ‘funny life’ stories that made everyone around her laugh and feel good.  Celina loved her family with all her heart.  She was very dedicated to her family’s health and happiness.  Celina lived life as a kind and generous family member and friend that will be dearly missed but always remembered with a smile.

Celina is survived by her son, Carlos Gonzales of Michigan; her husband, Mariano Bueno of Little Elm; her mother and father, Celia Serafin and Carlos Arizaga, both of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico; her sisters, Gina Aseltyne of Ukiah, California, Magdalena Arizaga of Little Elm, Celia Arizaga of Frisco, Claudia Arizaga of Guadalajara, Rita Arizaga of Frisco, Carla Arizaga of Guadalajara, Lupita Arizaga of Guadalajara; her brothers, Jr. Carlos Arizaga and Edwin Arizaga, both of Guadalajara; her step-mother, Leticia Munoz Arizaga; her God-children Bella Rae and Camille; and all her precious nieces and nephews she loved so very much.

We specially thank Jeff Harvill, Brigitte and David Sharpe, Irma Miranda, Maribel and Lalo Valencia, Christina Rulestead, Karla Munoz, and Tia Rita Rodriguez for the heartfelt love and support you shared with Celina.

To Valeria Santos, the joy of Celina’s life, you made big positive difference … thank you Valeria for all the ‘nurse caring time’ and love you shared with Celina.

Celina was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jose Arizaga and Carmen Gomez; Victor Serafin and Consempcion Martinez.

The family will receive friends at a Visitation at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home on Thursday, May 17, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., officiated by Deacon Martin Armendariz.  The Funeral Mass will be at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Friday, May 18, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., with Father Artemio Patiño officiating.
