(Laura) Catherine Felder Tanguay of Princeton, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 12, 2018 at the age of 66. She was born on October 4, 1951 to the late Keith and Eliza (Abshire) Felder in Dallas, Texas. Catherine married Michael J. Tanguay on June 22, 1979 in San Jose, California.
She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Michael J. Tanguay of Princeton, Texas; son, Andrew Tanguay and his wife, Casey and their children Asher and Eliza of Rowlett, Texas; daughter, Jenny Franke and her husband, Jared and their children Justus and Jaycee of Round Rock, Texas; brother, Marc Felder and his wife Karen of Friendswood, Texas; sister, Carolee Felder of Garland, Texas; aunt, Judy Chandler of Houston, Texas; and many other loving family members and friends. Her greatest joys in life were her family and friends.
Cathy was a beloved member of her church and community. She was very passionate about the women’s groups she has been involved in over the years. Cathy was an Elder at United Disciples Christian Church and she took much joy in playing a part in serving the shut-ins communion on Sundays. She could be found on Sundays making notes in one of her many Bibles. Cathy’s passion for helping and serving others will always be remembered. Her smile and laughter could light up the entire room. Cathy truly lived her life to the fullest by enjoying spending as much time with her grandkids as she could, playing games or just chatting with her family, feeding people, and loving everyone with a pure, kind and beautiful heart.
A memorial service will be held at First Christian Church in McKinney, TX at 10:00 am on Monday, May 21, 2018 with a reception immediately following.
