Catherine “Cathy” Lovett of McKinney, Texas passed away on January 22, 2020 at the age of 75. She was born on August 5, 1944 to Bill and Ida Hagood in Pampa, Texas. Cathy married Larry Lovett November 28, 1969 in Houston, Texas and was happily married for fifty years. She was a member of the Spring Creek Church of Christ in Tomball, Texas and McDermott Church of Christ in Plano, Texas. Cathy worked as an Executive Secretary for Conoco Oil and Gas for over twenty years. She had a true passion for art and loved to decorate.
Cathy is survived by her husband, Larry Lovett of McKinney, Texas; daughters, Kristan Lovett of Sherman, Texas and Lynette Morley of Midwest City, Oklahoma; granddaughters Olivia Lovett and Stephani Morley Atkins; grandson, Greg Morley; great-grandsons, Bowen and Zane Morley; brother, Bob Hagood and numerous other loving family and friends.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Bill and Ida Hagood; brother, Jim Barker and sisters Phyllis Odom and Billie Dell Langley.
A funeral service will be held Monday, January 27, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The family will receive friends during a visitation Sunday, January 26, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
