IN LOVING MEMORY

Carsyn Olivia Cosgrove

Feb 25 2013 - Jun 30 2016

Carsyn Olivia Cosgrove, born February 25, 2013, was granted her angel wings on June 30, 2016, following a life long illness.

Carsyn’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her sincere smile could melt the hearts of those around her and though she never spoke a word, her voice and thoughts could always be heard.

Although Carsyn’s illness made her appear frail, she possessed strength, perseverance, and an ability to overcome incredible odds and physical challenges. She taught us and reminded us daily that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. She would smile ear to ear when those she loved so much walked into the room; she could “dance” and clap all day; she would swing every chance she got; and of course, she would look forward to her favorite mobile to light up every night at bedtime.

With Carsyn’s passing we remind others that her life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss her every day as she is gone from our arms, she will forever remain in our hearts. She has taught us all the true meaning of unconditional love, as well as the importance of cherishing every moment with our loved ones.

Carsyn is survived by her loving parents, Sarah and John Cosgrove of Little Elm Texas; sisters, Alyson and Janie Stevenson, Alexa Cosgrove; brother, Bryce Cosgrove; maternal grandparents, Gary and Darlene Hattier, Aaron and Gina Cantrelle; maternal great-grandparent Janice Martin.

Carsyn is preceded by her paternal grandparents, John and Lillian Cosgrove; maternal great-grandparent AJ Martin.

Family and friends are invited to a Visitation at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas, 75033, on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Turrentine-Jackson- Morrow Chapel in Frisco on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 10:00 AM.
