Carson Davis Freeman

Carson Davis Freeman passed away March 18, 2024 in Plano, Texas at the age of 20. He was born to Mark Edward and Jennifer Nicole (Moss) Freeman on October 27, 2003 in Dallas, Texas.

Carson was a 2022 graduate of Sachse High School. He attended Collin College and Texas Tech University to study Counseling and Psychology. Carson aspired to one day be an addiction recovery counselor and work with teens and young adults. Carson enjoyed music, skateboarding, gaming, traveling, and body art tattoos. He loved animals, especially Tyson, his boxer. Carson participated in the Cub Scouts and was a member of Forney Taekwondo with whom he competed at a local, state, and national level. Family was very important to Carson, and he will be greatly cherished and missed.

Carson is survived by his mother, Jennifer Freeman of Van, Texas; father, Mark Freeman and wife, Selenda of Plano, Texas; brother, Cole Freeman of Plano, Texas; stepbrother, Connor Anderson of Plano, Texas; grandmother, Jane Howell and husband, Ardie of Van, Texas; grandmother and grandfather, Brenda and Stuart Wilson of Rustburg, Virginia; uncle, Todd Freeman and wife, Kim of Birmingham, Alabama; uncle, Chuck Freeman and wife, Estelle of Orange City, Iowa; cousins Kayla Freeman of College Station, Texas; Lauren Freeman of Birmingham, Alabama; Emily Freeman of Atlanta, Georgia, Aaron Freeman and wife, Rocio of Oxon Hill, Maryland; and Hannah Weilenga and husband, Lyle of Hull, Iowa; Denise Moss of Richardson, Texas; and family friend Mark Davis of Plano, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Martha and Charles Freeman, and grandfather, Curtis Moss.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. The service will also be live streamed at the following link:https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/carson-davis-freeman.

After the service, the family will be welcoming family and friends at Mark and Selenda’s home in Plano, Texas.

Please donate to the General Scholarship Fund, and mark your gift in honor/memory of Carson Freeman. All donations that come in his memory will be earmarked and that money will be assigned to someone studying in the Community, Family, Addiction Sciences (CFAS) department.
