Carroll Latiolais of Plano, Texas passed away March 16, 2018 at the age of 86. He was born May 23, 1931 to Albert Joseph Latiolais and Staine Marie (Barras) Latiolais in St. Martinville, Louisiana. Carroll served his country proudly in the United States during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Sun Oil for thirty-five years before his retirement in 1988. Carroll married Jo Etta Canfield on July 30, 1954 in Beaumont, Texas. He was a member of Post 321 American Legion in Plano and First Methodist Church in Richardson, Texas.
Carroll is survived by his daughters, Debra Sue Latiolais of South Riding, Virginia, Bonnie Lynn Latiolais in Plano, Texas, Carrie Lee Bishop and husband Jimmy of Charlotte, North Carolina, Angie Jo Martin of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Michael Ghorbanian of Vienna, Virginia, Miles Ghorbanian also of Vienna, Virginia, and Kevin Bishop of Washington, D.C.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Etta Latiolais, sisters, Peggy Evans and Jean Latiolais, and brother, Richard Latiolais.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas with Rev. April Johnson Bristow officiating. Interment is to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
