Carolyn Sue Sullins Bandy was born May 13, 1946 at Forney, Texas to T.R. Sullins and Virginia Lee Holland Sullins. She passed away surrounded by family on March 17, 2023 in Denison, Texas at the age of 76 years.
Sue married Jimmy Wayne Brown on May 14, 1963 in Durant, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on April 13, 1967. She later married Gary Durwin Bandy on November 13, 1967 in Trenton, Texas. He preceded her in death on November 12, 1991.
She and Gary and their children, Kevin Bandy, Bonnita and Jimmy Brown, made a family out on the farm in Trenton, Texas. She managed the business while Gary worked the farm. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Whitewright.
She is survived by daughter, Bonnita Lou Brown-Houston of Whitewright; son, Jimmy Wayne Brown, Jr. of Denison; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; sister, Virginia Perdue of Dallas; brother, Billy Joe Sullins of Terrell; sister, Pam White of Trenton; sister, Donita Achimon of Tom Bean; sister, Betty Sullins of Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jimmy Wayne Brown; husband, Gary Durwin Bandy; son, Kevin Bandy; granddaughter, Michelle Brown; 8 brothers and sisters.
Cremation arrangements are with Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Whitewright, Texas.
