Carolyn Lee Cain, age 61, of McKinney, Texas, passed away May 24, 2004, at her home. She was born March 26, 1943, in Clarksville, Texas, to Jack and Lois (Hall) Crook. She was a Court Coordinator for Collin County’s District 219th Court She retired after 28 years of service with Collin County. She was Collin County’s first female deputy sheriff and upon her retirement in 2001, Collin County named a hall in her honor in the Collin County Court Annex building on Graves Street in McKinney. She was a member of the Waddill Street Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, John Alan Cain of McKinney and his fianceé, Lisa Eade and her daughter, Amanda Eade both of Anna, Texas; mother, Lois Crook of Clarksville, Texas; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., Wednesday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 28, 2004, at Clarksville Funeral Home, Clarksville, Texas. Interment will follow at Tuggle Springs Cemetery.
