Even though I knew Carole for only a week when she invited me to stay in her home for the birth of her great-grandson and my grandson, Colin, I was deeply saddened by the news of her being called Home. Not only did she share her home with me but also her faith, love and joy - with all her heart. I was looking forward to seeing her again here, but now am looking forward to seeing her again in heaven. My deepest sympathies and prayers are with her family. Hawkins, February 23, 2011 Please accept our most sincere condolences for the loss of Carole. She was one of our most appreciated students and very popular with the student body. We are proud to say she was one of the leaders of our school in 1956. God bless all of you. Our hearts are with you, Charles (also our former student), and all her family and friends. Norview High School Class of 1956 Norfolk, Virginia Norview High School, February 23, 2011 Dear Charles and Family, We are so very sorry for your loss of Carole Ann. If there are angels on this earth, she certainly was one of them. We're sure she is in heaven now and walking with the Lord... but she will be missed on this earth. Helen and Carole Ann (that was what we called her in high school) were co-captain of the cheerleaders at Norview High School, Class of 1956, Norfolk, Virginia -- this was a joy and responsibility that they shared together, and one of their favorite memories. She was very loved then as she is now. She was very active in many activities, and was very highly respected and loved. God bless all of you with the peace of the beautiful Christian legacy she has left for you, her family and friends. Our dearest love and deepest sympathy to you, Helen Heath Allsbrook and John Allsbrook Class of 1956, Norview H. S., Norfolk, Virginia Helen and John Heath and W. Allsbrook, February 23, 2011 The Brutto family were our neighbors in Hamilton, Mass for far too short a period. What an amazing family. Once or twice a month, I could be seen walking across their backyard, towards the Brutto's basement where Carole cut my hair with aplomb and love. A combination missing from the downtown barbers. So many family outings to mention here, but many happy, happy times. Mr Brutto, Mark, Rodger and Jonathan, please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss.
