Carnell Brown, age 81, of Garland, Texas, passed away August 11, 2010, in Garland. Carnell was born June 22, 1929, in Princeton, Texas, to Jack S. and Haddie (Odil) Brown. He married Ola Jean Roland on July 3, 1954, in McKinney, Texas. Carnell was employed at Texas Instruments for twenty-five years. He was a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife, Ola Jean Brown of Garland, Texas; sister, Edna Swindall of Dallas, Texas; niece, Linda Brown of McKinney, Texas; and nephews, George Brown of McKinney, Texas and Tommy Brown of Rockwall, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and three sisters. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 14, 2010, at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation one hour prior to the service at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen.
