Carlo Gibbs, age 44, of Frisco, Texas, passed away January 5, 2022. Carlo was born on May 16, 1977, in San Salvador, El Salvador. He was adopted in 1978 by Clifford Lynn and Fairry (Ware) Gibbs. In his early childhood, Carlo lived in El Salvador, Brazil, and Mexico. The Gibbs family then moved to Lucas, Texas, where Carlo found his love for football. He was an avid sports fan. His favorite teams were first and foremost the Indianapolis Colts as well as the Dallas Mavericks and the Texas Rangers. He worked in IT for Elitek Vehicle Services where he expanded the company culture and built lasting relationships within the workplace. Carlo was loved by everyone he encountered. He was a devoted father, husband and friend. He had a great sense of humor and was always up for a good time with friends and family.
Carlo is survived by his wife, Kristin Gibbs; daughter, Madison Bailey (Gibbs) Jabara; sons, Rex Ryan Gibbs, Alex James Gibbs, Jax Guy Gibbs; father, Clifford Lynn Gibbs; brothers, Gregg Gibbs, Guy Gibbs, and Grady Gibbs; nephews, Andrew Gibbs, Brandon Gibbs and Gage Gibbs; nieces, Claire Gibbs, Emmeline Gibbs and Grace Gibbs; and grandson, Canon Phillip Jabara.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother Fairry.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas, 75033. Following the service there will be a gathering of friends and family at The Gibbs Residence 1555 Brook Lane Celina, Texas 75009.
