Carlos Mugel Treviño, age 56, of Providence Village, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. He was born March 16, 1966, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Maria Antonio Rivera and Roberta Alvarez Treviño. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in San Antonio, Texas, and attended college before having a successful career as a VIP Travel Agent in the international travel industry. Carlos married his love, Stephen Boykin, in The Colony in 2017. He enjoyed music, gardening, and travel. Carlos was a wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all those who knew him.
Carlos is survived by his husband, Steve Boykin; his children, Sammy Boykin-Treviño and Dusty Boykin-Treviño; his siblings, Jorge G. Treviño (Naomi), Rafael X. Treviño (Michael Boehme), Carmen T. Howe (Larry), Ricardo R. Treviño (Catherine), and Maria A. Rivera; his aunts, Narcissa Cardwell (David), Esther Vidaurri (Ruben), and Esther Herrera; nine cousins, four nephews, eight nieces, and 10 grand-nephews/nieces.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Roberto and Maria Antonia Treviño.
