Carlos Rey Eaton

May 23, 1995 - March 29, 2019

Carlos Rey Eaton of Dallas, Texas passed away March 29, 2019, at the age of 23.  He was born in Dallas, Texas on May 23, 1995, to Charles Ross Eaton, Sr. and Mary Helen (Armenta) Eaton.  Carlos was a 2013 graduate of Dallas Can Academy in Dallas and was of Catholic Faith.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, and also was an admirer of classic motor vehicles.  Carlos lived his life to the fullest whether it was riding his four wheeler with friends or fishing and hunting with his father and brother.  He was ever inquisitive as to how things worked, so much so that he would take things apart just so he could put them back together.  Carlos was a mechanic by nature who was always ready and willing to take care of any car troubles someone may have experienced.  His friendliness and kindness to all people as well as his devotion and love for animals are tributes to the beauty of his heart and soul.  Carlos’ vibrant presence is already deeply missed by many who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Eaton of Dallas, Texas; father, Charles Eaton, Sr. and wife, Toni of Poteau, Oklahoma; brother, Charles Eaton, Jr. of Plano, Texas; stepbrother, Kyler Plummer; stepsister, Tayley Plummer of Poteau, Oklahoma; grandparents, Betty Skinner and husband, Bob of Oak Leaf, Texas and Teresa Armenta of Dallas, Texas; nieces, Lilianna Zamora and Aria Plummer; aunts, Patricia Magallanes and husband, Francisco of Garland, Texas, Nancy Armenta and husband, Ben Castillo of Dallas, Texas and Cristina Camacho and husband, Antonio of Dallas, Texas; uncle, Fred Armenta of Dallas, Texas; cousins, Javier Magallanes, Priscilla Magallanes, Marcos Magallanes, Toni Mia Armenta, Tori Rea Armenta, Gabrielle Castillo, Alejandra Castillo, Benjamin Castillo and Abigail Camacho.

Carlos was preceded in death by his grandfather, Federico Armenta and uncle, Larry Don Eaton, Jr.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.  Interment is to follow in Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen.  The family will receive friends during a visitation and rosary on Monday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Michael Spiker, April 8, 2019 I love you my friend.  It will always seem like yesterday that I was with you all.  The joking, clowning, horse playing.  I only knew your good side and not what you were dealing with on the inside.  I'm sure you knew I loved you and was there for you.  I always will.
Andrew Vazquez, April 8, 2019 I knew Carlos through close friends. I only spent time with him twice but I can so vividly remember him and the feelings I had when I was around him. I could tell he was good but he struggled with his issues. I wanted so badly to see him overcome because I know he had a kind heart. I will continue to pray that Carlo and his family can find pace. I am deeply sorry for your loss.

Los Vincent "Styx" Martinez, April 8, 2019 Rest In Peace C-LOS From The Gooberz and Wizardz. We want to send our condolences to all of Carlos’s friends and family. God received a powerful soldier/Angel. We had big plans for the future but God had even bigger plans for you. With out you everything we have now, turns into dust in my eyes. It was your idea for us to record our daily activities. To show the world who we are, and what we represent. You brought out the best in us and we thank you for that. Thank you for the memories brother. I can hear you saying “don’t give up” in my head over and over again. And We will not give up! We will achieve all the goals we have, in your name! I promise. One thing for sure is, You will never be forgotten! We love and miss you. We’ll see you later bro. Watch over us. God bless the Eaton, Armenta, and Plummer family. Long Live Carlos Rey Eaton!!!
