Carl A. Wisner

Carl Wisner was born on March 24, 1930 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Judson and Margaret Wisner.  The youngest of identical twin boys.  Growing up in Tulsa, Oklahoma for 12 years the family then moved to Iola, Kansas where Carl graduated from Iola High school and Iola Junior College.  Carl worked as a Mechanical Engineer for an Aeronautical Engineering Company. Carl was a member of the Scottish Rite, The Free Masons, and The United Methodist Church.  He enjoyed traveling all over the world, fishing, volunteering, and spending time with family.  Carl lived a life of integrity, family values, serving his community, and volunteering. 

Carl is survived by his wife of 60 years, Frances Lee Wisner of Frisco, Texas; his daughter, Shelley and her husband, Ruben; his two grandchildren, Devon and Cole all of Coppell, Texas. His nieces and nephews, Mark Wisner of Wichita, Kansas, Keith Wisner of Nashville, Tennessee, Terry Wisner, Bruce Wisner, and Craig Wisner and all their families from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Allen Wisner and family and Dana Spears and family of Danville, Arkansas.

Carl was preceded in death by his three brothers, Bill Wisner and his wife, Irene, Charles Wisner and his wife, Mary Jo, and Clyde Wisner and his wife, Ann. 

Family and friends are invited to a Visitation on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Berkshire Chapel, 9073 Berkshire Drive, Frisco, Texas 75033, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM with a Memorial Service beginning at 6:30 PM. Inurnment will be held at Ridgeview West Memorial Park.
