Camille Fryar Franklin, age 90, of McKinney, Texas passed away September 12, 2004, at her home. She was born April 16, 1914, in Lelia Lake, Texas to Nicholas Lorenzo and Lela Martin Fryar. She was a graduate of San Antonio High School and attended San Antonio Junior College. She was a member of the PEO Sorority and the first president of the McKinney Heritage Guild. She volunteered at the Heard Museum and was the president of the PTA at Preston Hollow Elementary School. She was also a homemaker and a member of the first Presbyterian Church in McKinney. She is survived by her sons, Buzz Franklin and his wife, Barbara of Dallas, Texas and Rick Franklin and his wife, Tanya of McKinney; daughter, Dianne Alexander of Dallas; grandchildren, Sam and Torchy Franklin, MacKenzie and Landon Weaver, Will Alexander, Erin Alexander Paisan, Ashley Alexander Mulligan and Clay Sanders; great-grandchildren, Gabbi and Isabelle Paisan, Tate, Grace, Aidan and Riley Mulligan; brother, Loren Nicholas Fryar and wife, Carolyn, nephew, Nick Fryar; and niece, Jane Avery. She was preceded in death by her parents; and former husband, Henry Carrell Franklin. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 17, 2004, at the First United Methodist Church in McKinney. Arrangements are under the direction of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Directors. Memorials may be made to the Dallas Salesmanship Club, the Trinity Hospice-Castle Peak, 14800 Landmark Blvd., Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75254 or to the First United Methodist Church in McKinney.
