C. W. "Mac" McDearmon

C. W. “Mac” McDearmon, age 90, of McKinney, Texas, passed away December 5, 2007 in Irving, Texas. Clarence was born on April 12, 1917 in Kingston, Oklahoma to Walter and Hattie McDearmon. He married Lorene Cannedy on April 20, 1935 in McKinney. Mac was a nurse for 42 years in McKinney, Texas working with the Veteran’s Administration Hospital and retiring with North Texas Medical Center. He proudly served in the United States Army during World War II in overseas duty. He was a member of the McKinney Nazarene Church for 50 years. He is survived by his sons; Charles Wayne and wife, Sally of Corpus Christi, Texas, Ronald L. and wife, Paula of Garland, Texas, Roy Don of Austin, Texas and Monty Dale and wife, Joan of Garland, Texas; daughters, Barbara Sue Davis and husband, Gerald and Judy Gale Winburn and husband Tommy of McKinney; 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; several friends, nieces, and numerous other relatives. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1997, 1 great grandchild and 3 sisters. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 8, 2007, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in McKinney, Texas. Interment will follow in Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening from 6:00–8:00 PM.
