Jack Crutcher, age 75, of Fairview, Texas passed away March 2, 2008, in McKinney, Texas. He was born November 30, 1932, in Breckenridge, Texas to Cecil Johnson and Grace (Wheeler) Crutcher. He grew up in Gladewater, Texas. Jack played football for SMU, where he was a graduate of the class of 1955. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. On July 9, 1955, Jack married Donna Lou Ray in San Antonio, Texas. He worked for Eli Lilly for over 35 years. Jack was a Shriner and a 32nd Degree Mason for the Richardson Masonic Lodge #1214. He was also a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Fairview. He is survived by his wife, Lou Crutcher of Fairview; children, Denise and Scott Youzva of Garland, D’Ana Pedigo and Kevin Burrows of Murphy, Michelle and Glenn Stanley of Allen, and Ty and Kathy Crutcher of Dallas; and he was “Boom-Pa” to 11 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 5, 2008, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Dave Saffle officiating. Visitation to follow after services.
