C.D. Trusty

Graveside services for C.D. Trusty, 88 year old Leonard resident, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday May 29th at the Indian Creek Cemetery at Nobility, Texas. Charles E. Wrenn will officiate. Family visitation will be from 7 until 9 p.m. Thursday May 28th at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard. Mr. Trusty was born August 24, 1920 at Nobility, Texas. His parents were James Alford and Hatty Elizabeth Thomas Trusty. He married Doris London July 25, 1949 at Bonham, Texas He was a member of the Indian Creek Baptist Church and he served his country as a member of the United States Army. He was a Structural Iron Worker and a member of the Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Iron Workers Local Union # 263 out of Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas for almost 60 years. He was a Life Member of the American Legion of Van Alstyne. He is survived by his sister-in-law: Mary Trusty and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife: Doris Trusty; his brothers: Tommy Trusty, Lewis Trusty, Billy Trusty and Howard Trusty; his sisters: Bessie Smith and Zelma Carpenter.
