Buzz Davis, age 76 of Whitesboro, Texas (formerly Frisco, Texas) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on September 25, 2010. He was born on September 16, 1934 in Lolaville, Texas to George Allen and Katie Elizabeth (Williams) Davis. Buzz married Wanda Frances Tadlock on December 19, 1953 in Frisco, Texas. Buzz, a beloved husband and father worked as a Mechanic to Frisco citizens for over 50 years. He was employed by J.W. Tittle; J.W. Marshall; Mahard Egg Farma nd J.W. (Bill) Christie. Buzz loved to spend his free time at the lake fishing and camping. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Davis of Whitesboro, Texas; children, Randy Davis and his wife, Michelle of Providence Village, Texas, Rita Moncier of Frisco, Texas, Rhonda Ishmael and her husband, Ricky of Gordonville, Texas; grandchildren, Thomas Davis, Amie Pouges, Tina Wade, Elizabeth Trosper, Alicia Moncier, Megan Trosper; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Ola Mae Smith of Frisco, Texas, Bessie Pennington of Pottsboro, Texas and Opal Evans of Farmers Branch, Texas; brothers, Jo Bill Davis of Denton, Texas and Cecil Ray Davis of Frisco, Texas. Buzz was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert, Floyd and George Davis and his sisters, Kate Howard, Margie Hill and Fannie Cross and his son-in-law, Roy Moncier. The family will receive friends at a Visitation to be held at First Baptist Church of Frisco beginning at 6:00 PM on Monday, September 27, 2010. Funeral Services will be held at the Church at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 with Pastor Ray Wilkins officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. Donations may be made in Buzz’s memory to Grayson County Hospice.
