IN LOVING MEMORY

Bryson Key Bullington

Oct 22 1971 - May 19 2026

Bryson Key Bullington, 54, of Carrollton, Texas passed away at home on May 19, 2026 surrounded with the love and prayers of family and friends. Bryson had an early start to life, born prematurely on October 22, 1971 to an overjoyed Gerald Glynn Bullington and Pamela Marie (Byrd) Bullington. Bryson was the older identical twin to his brother Bryan. Bryson and Bryan rounded out the Bullington family that included big sister, Ashley.

Raised in Dallas, Bryson graduated from Berkner High School in 1990 before earning a Bachelor’s degree in Education, with an English minor from Texas A&M University. Bryson married the love of his life, Louise Joanne Lovett, on May 18, 1996, in Dallas, Texas. They began life together in College Station, and later moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma before finally settling in the Dallas area where they lived for over 25 years. In 2003 they welcomed the joy of their lives with the birth of their daughter Olivia Cate. Bryson was a member of Prestonwood Baptist Church for 26 years where he taught Bible study and served in various roles in the life of the church.

Bryson spent 20 years in pharmaceutical sales, before stepping into his dream job as Chick-Fil-A owner/operator in Sulphur Springs for seven years, and later at the Chick-Fil-A in McKinney, Texas.

Bryson inhabited many roles, a loving son, devoted brother, faithful husband, father and loyal friend. He touched the lives of many with his care, humor, wisdom, questionable humor and abiding love. Bryson loved the fighting Texas Aggies and was forever hopeful that “this year was going to be their year.” In recent years, Bryson re discovered his love for painting and filled his home and the homes of friends with original pieces. He also enjoyed working out, especially when his daughter joined him. He appreciated fashion and personal style, but most loved wearing sweat pants and blue dress shirts. Bryson owned many dogs over the years, and despite what he would say, he loved them all.

Bryson is survived by his wife, Louise of Carrollton, Texas; daughter, Olivia and husband, DJ Coffman of Frisco, Texas; mother, Pamela Bullington of Dallas, Texas; sister, Ashley Brooks of Dallas, Texas; twin brother, Bryan Bullington and wife, Rachel of Pearland, Texas; in-laws, Carol and Stewart Lovett of Plano, Texas; nieces and nephews, Zach, Ava, Cameron, Haley, Willow and Zeke; brother-in-law, Paul and Melissa Lovett of Forest Grove, Oregon; sister-in-law, Sara and Kelly Morris of Lemitar, New Mexico; and a host of other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Bullington and his grandmother, Nana, Louise Byrd.

The Memorial Service will be held at Prestonwood Baptist Church, 6801 W. Park Blvd. Plano, Texas on June 19th at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6
