Bryce Allen Sloan passed away at the age of 26 in Farmersville, Texas on February 25, 2023. He was born on January 10, 1997 in Champagne, Illinois to parents, Darren Shad Sloan and Michelle Kay Sloan.

Bryce joined the US Army in 2015 and became a Military Police officer and later became a detective. He later was discharged in 2020 from his military career after he served 5 years in the Army. He started in IT work shortly after. His hobbies included spending time with his son Hank, Fishing and playing guitar. He will be missed dearly by those who were touched by Bryce’s loving and caring nature. He always put others first before himself. Most Importantly Bryce always carried the Lord and his word wherever he went.

Bryce is survived by his 4-year-old son, Hank Sloan, his mother, Michelle Sloan of Farmersville, Texas, father, Darren Sloan of Leesville, South Carolina, his maternal grandparents, Terry and Viola Martin of Farmersville, Texas, paternal grandparents, Ron Sloan of Decatur, Illinois and Karen Suchor of Champagne, Illinois, his aunt, “Aunty” Leicia Jones of Georgetown, Illinois, and his pet ferret “Millie”.
