As we journey through life and meet people along the way, I was the lucky one to become friends and colleagues with Bruce during our time together at Steak & Ale, specifically in Addison, TX in the mid-80's (we had a great time working hard and playing hard!) staying in touch as our careers continued with other companies. Bruce coached, mentored and inspired many people along the way, to numerous to list! He showed us how to be a great father, brother, husband and restaurant leader...I pray for his extended family and I"m sure you had a "Long Island style" celebration of his life. HIs legacy will live on through all the lives he's impacted. RIP brother... Brad West, October 22, 2017 I was very sad to hear of Bruce's passing. I also work for Corner Bakery. Your fanmily is in my thoughts and prayers. Sorry I won't be able to attend the services, due to my second job. My sincerest condolences to you and your family. Brenda Page, October 20, 2017 Our Dear, Dear Bruce — You are much too young to be honored in this way. But honoring you we are. Such a good person. Such a good family man. A rock to many. Our time with you and Lynne was full of love and laughter and strength and tears. Family celebrations and solemnity. We should’ve had more. See you at the beach...our brother & uncle. Tim, Shirley, Cole, Dale & Erica, October 20, 2017 To Bruce's Family-so sorry for your loss. Bruce was an awesome business asset, as he loved/cared about the people he worked with. Throughout his career, the product changed but Bruce working hard to bring out the best in others, to be the BEST at his job remained extremely high! He loved to laugh and have fun, too. RIP Bruce! You will be missed.... Lisa Tow, October 17, 2017 Our thoughts and prayers our with you and your family. Joe and Julie Crittendon, October 15, 2017 I met Bruce over 25 years ago at Steak and Ale days and he has worked with my ex Michael Thrasher throughout the years. He was an amazing man, husband and father. His joy for life will be missed. May angels lift Lynn and her family for peace. Melissa Crozier, October 15, 2017 I only had a year to know you; however, you taught me so much. I had a vision of where I wanted to go and you directed me to that very destination. You where a great leader and mentor for many. The time was short but I will treasure it forever. You will be missed. "Rest in Peace my friend" Dan High, October 12, 2017 The only Yankee fan I ever liked! One of the really good guys in this industry....gave unselfishly to his team, friends and company. A true gentleman....he will be missed greatly! Badu , October 9, 2017 Miss my lost brother Michael and Sydnee Thrasher, October 6, 2017 Zephaniah 3:17 The Lord your God is with you , he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you He will quiet you with His love He will rejoice over you with singing.... Bruce is witnessing all of that and so much more right now. He was a dear friend that took passion in everything he did. His family, his work, his sports and his friends. Always with a huge smile regardless of the obstacle he might be facing. I loved his huge laugh, his drive, his competitive spirit...but mostly I loved his caring spirit for others. His kind heart. His willingness to work himself silly for his family. You are already missed my friend... Love you.... Glen
