Brittanee Rache Stewart of McKinney, Texas passed away in her home on March 21, 2017, at the age of 31. She was born on February 21, 1986, in Hobbs, New Mexico to Pamela Sue Stewart and Garry Craig Morgan. Britt began her education at Washington Heights Nursery going on to Taylor Elementary for five years, continuing with one year at Southern Heights and one year at Highland Jr. High. She relocated to Texas and continued her education at Turner High School in Carrollton, TX and graduated from Coppell High School in 2004. She earned an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts at Collin County College and a Bachelor’s Degree from Le Cordon Bleu in Culinary Management. Britt worked in the culinary field until March, 2016 upon becoming ill. She enjoyed long walks with her dog and meeting people throughout the neighborhood. Britt never met a stranger. She also enjoyed attending movies and going out with her friends on occasion. Britt loved playing jokes on her family and was very playful. Britt had a great sense of humor. She will always be remembered as a very sweet, loving, and family oriented person.
Britt met and fell in love with her fiancé, Bentley Minott. They had plans for a family and bright future together. She was very close with her niece Jalyn Stewart whom she did lots of fun things with and cherished the time spent with her. Britt loved her dog George.
She is survived by her mother, Pamela S. Parker; father, Garry C. Morgan; sister's, LaWanda Stewart and Gina Franklin; brother, Garrison Morgan; niece, Jalyn Stewart; a host of nieces and nephews on her father's side; uncles, Charles Stewart, Henry Stewart, and Charles Morgan; aunts, Wilma Brewer and Barbara Pace; and numerous loving cousins and friends.
Britt was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bennie and Anna Stewart and Annie Morgan, and many aunts and uncles.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas with Rev. Ezekial Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
