With great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Brigitta Roswitha (Laux) Jessen, age 76, of Prosper, Texas, on Wednesday, June 23, 2021. She was born in Ternitz, Austria, on March 22, 1945, to Katharina (Kowatch) Laux and Anton Michael Laux.
Brigitta obtained her associate degree and worked as a registered nurse caring for the sick and comforting the mentally ill. She married the love of her life, Lauren Anton Jessen, in Cincinnati, Ohio, on December 16, 1967. Brigitta was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
Brigitta is survived by her beloved husband, Lauren Jessen; her daughter, Janet Ramsey and her husband, Rick, of Broomfield, Colorado; her son, Chris Jessen and his wife, Denise, of Prosper, Texas; her precious grandchildren, Kyle, Grant and Reid Jessen; and her brother, Gottfried Laux and his wife, Ann, of Cincinnati, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Katharina and Anton Laux.
