It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Scott Watson, a beloved husband, father, and community pillar, who left us on June 21, 2024, at the age of 58.
Scott was a man of extraordinary character, known for his boundless generosity and unwavering kindness. Born on September 15, 1965, he spent his formative years cultivating a spirit of service and dedication that would define his entire life.
A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Scott served his country from 1990 - 1995 with honor and distinction. His time in the Navy was marked by a deep commitment to his comrades and his nation, a commitment that extended into every facet of his civilian life.
After his service, Scott transitioned to a highly successful career in real estate, alongside his amazing wife. He became a top-notch real estate agent, known for his integrity, expertise, and tireless work ethic. Together, they built a flourishing business and team, earning numerous awards and accolades for their outstanding service and dedication to their clients.
Scott was not just a professional success; he was a devoted family man. He leaves behind his cherished wife, Tammy, and their two beloved children, Ally and Zach. His family was his greatest joy and proudest achievement, and he dedicated his life to ensuring their happiness and wellbeing. He also leaves behind his uncle, Craig Garrison and brother, Derek Smith. Preceded in death by his father, Ian Keith Watson, his mother, Adrienne Marie Smith, stepdad, Floyd Smith, aunt, Sherrie, and sister, Melody Watson.
Scott’s charitable spirit touched the lives of many. He was always willing to lend a hand, offer advice, or provide support to those in need. His presence was a blessing to all who knew him, and his legacy of kindness and giving will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 28, 2024, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. Interment will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Park following the service. The family will receive guests during a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday evening at the funeral home. A celebration of Scott’s life will be held on June 28, 2024, at the Watson residence at 6:00 p.m.
