Brian 43, passed away unexpectedly on July 25, 2022. He was born on April 4, 1979, to Gary and Deborah Coles
Brian attended San Diego State University and Brookhaven Community College studying automotive repair. He served in the US Navy.
Brian loved his 6-year career at AutoZone. His love of cars and previous schooling helped him raise in the ranks to Commercial Manager. He greatly loved helping people with their auto part needs. He had a unique bond with his boss Will, they made a dynamic team, often moving stores together throughout the years.
Brian was preceded in death by his father Gary Coles. He is survived by his beloved wife, Alysen Cramer Coles, her parents Wade and Ann as well as her 3 siblings, brother-in-law and sister-in-law and a large extended family. He is also survived by his mother Deborah VanDeusen-Francis and Stepfather Jay Francis; His stepbrother Michael (Margaret) and nephews; and Stepsister Michele (Stephan) and niece and nephew; Aunt Priscilla Scali (Tony); Aunt Cheryl Kenyon (Herb) and Aunt Michele Print-Up (Bill) along with several cousins. Brian is also survived by his “adopted” sister and brother Eric and Elizabeth Roberts.
Brian found his faith in Custer Road United Methodist Church and joined the youth choir. He especially enjoyed his Sr. Choir Tours and Sr. High Mission Trips with his fellow C.R.U.M.Y friends. Later in life he joined his wife, Alysen, at Stepping Stones Church of McKinney before their marriage on September 26, 2020, helping to build the church they married in.
Brian was well known for his love of anything to do with cars and his devotion to all his Dallas sports teams: Mavericks, Rangers, Stars, and Cowboys. He loved cooking, especially grilling for his whole family and all his friends. He was always willing to help others in need, especially with car problems. He was a passionate and hard worker and was always putting others first.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Custer Road UMC, 6601 Custer Rd, Plano, Texas75023.
