IN LOVING MEMORY

Brian Chamberlin

Mar 17 1945 - Jul 03 2026

Brian Chamberlin, 81 years old, passed away peacefully with his wife, Judy by his side on July 3, 2026. He was born on March 17, 1945 in Weymouth, Massachusetts to I.D. "Bus" Chamberlin and Eleanor Morris Chamberlin.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 55 years Judy (Harris), daughter Kelly, daughter Kristen and husband Aaron, brothers Mark and Stephen, and sisters Diane Deckard and Kathleen "Trini" Mosmeyer.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Lenore "Noe".

Brian enlisted in the Air Force in 1966, served in the Vietnam War, and completed Officer Training School. He retired in 1994 as Lt. Colonel. His time in the military instilled his work ethic, punctuality, and high standards for himself and others.

Brian grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas and returned to raise his family from 1978-1994. He was actively involved at St. Theresa Catholic Church for many years. He resided in Pflugerville, Texas from 1994-2016 and worked for the State of Texas as an internal auditor. He was an active parishioner at St. Elizabeth of Hungary in Pflugerville. In 2016 he moved to Savannah, Texas and enjoyed being part of the Isabella Village community, regularly attending the men's coffee group.

Brian was a loving father and husband who always put his family first. He was a man of faith who was active in the Catholic Church and continued watching mass at home when he was no longer able to attend in person. He never met a stranger and his sense of humor and positive attitude ensured he was loved by all who knew him.

The family would like to thank Brian's caregivers from Right at Home and BrightStar Care of Denton for providing excellent care in his later years. Brian was loved by many of his caregivers who became family to him and Judy. The family is deepy grateful for the compassion and dedication shown by all who cared for Brian, including Baylor Frisco, LifeCare Hospitals, and Heart to Heart Hospice.

A private family service and military burial will be held at Memory Gardens in Victoria, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Disabled American Veterans (DAV) or Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund in Brian's memory.
