IN LOVING MEMORY

Brian Joseph Caraker

Jan 05 1972 - Jan 26 2013

He has always claimed that on January fifth 1972, Mom and Dad finally got it right. For 41 years that swagger earned him the loyalty and love of great friends and family. Our baby brother grew taller than us as he moved on from St. Patrick’s Catholic School to Bishop Lynch High School and then graduated from Tulane University. His heart grew larger as well: he was always a generous and sensitive soul who somehow always knew what we needed. We mourn now for the loss of his enormous hugs and bright smile. We remember the best baby brother who opened his home for those in need. We will miss the tolerant little boy who let us dress him in our plaid uniforms and curl his hair. And we wish that everyone had a brother to catch their touchdown passes.   Brian goes now to join our father, David William Caraker, and our grandparents, Betty & Joe Klebosits and Mabel & Oscar Caraker. Left behind to cherish his memory are our mother, Sharron Ann Caraker, brother and sister-in-law David & Teresa Caraker, sister and brother-in-law Kristi & Steve Wilczynski, sister and brother-in-law Mikki & Michael Gaddis and nieces and nephews Katie Wilczynski, Anna Wilczynski, Mary Beth Caraker, David Wilczynski, Hannah Caraker and Trey Caraker. Sharing our sorrow are Beverly Vaughan, Suzanne Dahlberg, his “darlin” Michele Roberts, and his goddaughter McKenna Belter. Friends and family will gather for a rosary on January 29th at 7pm at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church 9643 Ferndale Road in Dallas with visitation before at 6pm and Mass of Christian burial at 10:30am January 30th also at St. Pat’s. Instead of flowers, please contribute to the Brother Bill's Helping Hand in honor of Brian. PO Box 565846 Dallas, TX 75356.
