Reverend Brenda Joyce Cooper, age 62 of Frisco, Texas passed away on February 1, 2010 in Frisco. She was born on February 25, 1947 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Loe and Bessie (Turner) Whitacker. Reverend Cooper worked for At&T as a supervisor and was of the Christian Faith. She is survived by her daughters, Roshounda Ellerbe and her husband, Shon of Frisco, Texas, Norresa Harden and her husband, Tony of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren, LaTrice, Tonitta, Domonique and Brittany Harden and Nashon, Brianna and Brook Ellerbe; five great-grandchildren; brother, Loe Whitacker, Jr. and his wife Ann of Los Angeles, California; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other loving family and friends. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Valerie Cooper and sister, Pastor Dorothy Dale. The family will receive friends during a Visitation to be held from 6-8 PM on Sunday, February 7 2010 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Frisco, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, February 8, 2010 at the Funeral Home with Rev. Myron Whitaker officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview West Memorial Park in Frisco, Texas.
