Brenda Sue Binion passed away January 8, 2023 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on March 20, 1951, in Princeton, Texas to Ephriam Dewey Gilbert and Marcella Johnson.

She worked for State Farm and then to Owens Country Sausage. Brenda met her husband Glen a few months out of high school. They were married in June 6, 1969 in Culleoka, Texas at Culleoka Baptist Church. Their family began with the birth of their son Chris and later Seth joined their family. For about 10 years Brenda worked for Owens Country Sausage before her and her husband moved to Georgia to pastor a church in Jessup, Georgia. In the early 2000s Brenda and Glen moved back to North Texas to be close to family. She was a great worker and office manager. Brenda was the picture of a southern lady. She always kept her house and family in immaculate condition. Everywhere she went, she made lifelong friends due to her kind and loving nature. She was a graceful woman that brought warmth to the hearts of those she met.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Glen Binion of Fate, Texas; Sons, Chris Binion and his wife, Tracy of Fate, Texas, Seth Binion of Fate, Texas; Grandchildren, Chase Binion and wife LaTanya of Josephine, Texas, Haley Binion of Fate, Texas, and Angelina Binion of Fort Worth, Texas and great grandchildren, Dallas, Kyah, and Kingston sister, Charlotte Guevara and several nieces and nephews.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Ephriam Dewey Gilbert and Marcella Johnson; sister, Barbara Gilbert and brother, Michael Gilbert.

A visitation will be held Friday, January 13, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson- Morrow Funeral Home 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013, with the Home Going Service to be held, Sunday, January 15, at 5:00 p.m. at Encounter Church 3025 Highway 30, Fate, Texas 75087. Burial will take place at a later date.
