Braxton Cole Piñero, “Braxton the Brave”, was born August 18, 2015 in Frisco, Texas. He was a fighter in every true sense of the word, and continued fighting for a double lung transplant up until his passing on Monday, March 28, 2022. Braxton had spent many months battling pulmonary fibrosis -- a rare side effect from the treatment he received that helped him overcome his battle with neuroblastoma.
Braxton was a courageous and determined child who loved the color red, penguins, and snuggles. He is survived by his parents, Pedro and Heather, and his brother, Chase. He is survived by his grandmothers, Zenaida Piñero and Jan Higbee, and by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Hector Piñero and Joe Higbee.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North in Allen, Texas.
