Brandon Edward Faulkner, Sr. of McKinney, Texas, passed away July 5, 2021, at the age of 48. He was born on September 8, 1972, to John Ed Faulkner and Beverly Jean (Ciganik) Faulkner in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Brandon grew up in Dallas, Texas, where he graduated from Lakeview Centennial High School in Garland, Texas, in 1991. He graduated from Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas, with a bachelor’s in criminal justice and sociology. Brandon was a police officer in Mesquite, Texas, for 9 years. After leaving the force, he began working for Cinemark where he worked for 12 years. For the last 2 years, he helped open the Cinemark North McKinney Theatre with a group of beloved employees. He married Leslye Dawn Lemmons on December 4, 1999, in Rowlett, Texas. Brandon loved sports, the Dallas Cowboys and coaching his kids in soccer. He enjoyed fishing, disc golf and playing poker but most importantly loved spending time with his family and friends.
Brandon is survived by his wife, Leslye Faulkner of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Rilye Faulkner of McKinney; son, Brandon Faulkner, Jr. of McKinney; parents, Beverly Curtis and husband, Don of Kemp, Texas and John Faulkner and wife, Peggy of Austin, Texas; brothers and sisters, Sean Faulkner and husband, Trae Schafer of Dallas, Texas, Andy Faulkner and wife, Cassandra of Prosper, Texas, Bradley Faulkner and Rebecca Faulkner, both of Austin, Texas; niece, Briana Carson and husband, Chandler; mother and father-in-law, Rick Lemmons and wife, Janice of McKinney, Texas; brother-in-law, Jeff Lemmons and Carlos Rojas of Dallas, Texas and a host of other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, July 9, 2021, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
