Bradley “Brad” Booe, age 53, of Frisco, Texas, passed away April 25, 2024. Brad was born May 18, 1970, in Dallas, Texas, to David Gene and Joy Lynn (Cox) Booe. He married Joanne Elizabeth Newell on June 16, 2018, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Brad graduated from LD Bell High School in Hurst, Texas, and then from The University of North Texas in Denton, Texas.
He spent many years in the restaurant industry, working his way up to General Manager for TGI Fridays. After the birth of his son, he realized the need for better hours, and eventually ended up working in the insurance industry where he worked in claims.
He was an avid soccer lover who played, refereed, and even coached his beloved sport. He took immense pride in coaching the Leadership Prep Lions Varsity team for six years. He was also a season ticket member of FC Dallas for more than a decade.
Brad loved to travel, especially on cruise ships with his family. He was so happy to be able to go on a cruise with his son Mason in January to celebrate Mason's belated 21st birthday.
Brad was an outgoing, charismatic man who made friends wherever he went. He loved to laugh and tell stories and was often the loudest in the group, second only to his wife, Joanne. His friends, family, and players will miss him immensely.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne Booe of Frisco, Texas; son, Bradley Mason Booe of Lewisville, Texas; step-daughter, Allison Paige Newell of Frisco, Texas; step-son, Aidan Patrick Newell, also of Frisco; parents, David and Joy Booe; and three dogs, Addie, Dempsey, and Gizmo.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey Booe.
