IN LOVING MEMORY

Bradford Louis Cobb

Nov 04 1945 - Feb 03 2021

Bradford Louis Cobb of McKinney, Texas passed away February 3, 2021 at the age of 75.  He was born on November 4, 1945 to Thomas Garrett and Gladys Voigt Cobb in Geneva, Illinois.  Bradford graduated from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana and earned his MBA from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.  He served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force, stationed in Kunsan, South Korea and Tampa, Florida. He married his high school sweetheart, Katheryn ‘Kit’ McCulloch on June 14, 1969 in Wheaton, Illinois.

Brad began working for Fisher Controls, now Emerson Electric, in Marshalltown, Iowa in 1973.  The company transferred him to McKinney in 1977, where he eventually retired from his position as the Emerson Regulator Division Controller, in 2008, after 35 years of service.

Bradford is survived by his wife of 52 years, Katheryn (Kit) Cobb of McKinney, Texas; son, Andrew Cobb and wife, Amber of Nolensville, Tennessee; daughter, Heather Cobb of McKinney, Texas; grandson, Dylan Cobb of Richardson, Texas; brother, Richard Cobb of Chicago, Illinois; sister, Louise Kant of Carmel, Indiana; numerous other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ryan Garrett Cobb; and brother, William Francis Cobb.

Brad was a proud father, grandpa, and supportive husband, who never missed his kid’s ballgames.  In his retirement, he enjoyed playing golf and was an avid traveler.  You could find him at the craps table in Vegas or enjoying the beach in Destin, FL, even though he hated the sand.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association in his honor.
