IN LOVING MEMORY

Brad C. Rosenwald

Feb 11 1953 - Feb 05 2023

Brad C. Rosenwald passed away peacefully on February 5, 2023.  He was born on February 11, 1953 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Brad grew up in Bloomington, MN and graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1975 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Upon graduation, he started his career with BASF in Wyandotte, Michigan. This division of BASF was later acquired by Vulcan Materials Company, which led to his long career with Vulcan Materials. After numerous moves took him from Michigan to Wisconsin to Kansas to Louisiana and lastly to Alabama, Brad rose to President of the Chemicals Division of Vulcan Materials and retired in 2009.

In high school, he met Candice and the two have been in love ever since! After college, they were married and in October they celebrated 47 years together. Since retiring in 2009, they traveled extensively with some of their favorite places being Cabo, the Canadian Rockies, Italy, New York City, Scotland and Ireland, where he also enjoyed playing golf with his friends. In 2014, Brad was given the gift of life with a heart transplant and fully capitalized with living life to the fullest.  In 2019, Brad, Candice and their son Adam, moved to Prosper, TX to be closer to family.

He was most proud of raising his three sons, Adam, Gregg (Erica) and Matt (Jordan) and enjoying time with his grandchildren: Graham, Carter, Ellie, Hank, Tate and baby boy due in June.

Brad was well known for his “To-Do” lists, neatly prioritized with a material list, measurements and costs. A repairman was never needed as he could fix anything. Brad loved working with his hands and was a gifted woodworker. His love of music was apparent given his sizable record collection, large speakers and hundreds of music videos.

In addition to his wife, children, grandchildren, and loyal dogs, Lexi and Bella, Brad will be forever missed by his sisters: Jane Davidson (Larry), Mary Gilbert (Kelly), Julie Bosserman (Dave), numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.

Brad was proceeded in death by his parents Herb and Helen Rosenwald .

A celebration of life will be held at Chase Oaks Church Sloan Creek on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 3:00 p.m., located at 611 East Stacy Road, Fairview, Texas 75069. Casual attire please.
