Bonnie Wanda Pearce, age 90, of Richardson, Texas, passed away on September 23, 2017. She was born October 16, 1926 in Gunter, Texas, to Don Carlos and Hattie Mae (Young) Wallace. On July 12, 1947, Bonnie married Reuben P. Pearce in Denison, Texas. She enjoyed knitting, reading and singing gospel music. She was a founding member of Waterview Church of Christ in Richardson, Texas; her faith was a huge reflection of her life.
She is survived by her sons, Carl Pearce and wife Becky and Warren Pearce all of Richardson, Texas; grandchildren, Rick Pearce of Richardson, Texas and Megan Whittaker of Roundrock, Texas; a host of nephews, nieces and many other loving relatives and friends.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, Don Carlos and Hattie Mae Wallace; husband, Reuben P. Pearce; brothers, Foy Wallace and Joe Wallace; sisters, Alma Spencer, Donna B. Webb and Ruby Probst.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Gunter Cemetery in Gunter, Texas. The family will receive friends at a visitation being held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday afternoon, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Gunter, Texas.
