Bonnie Ann Pate, age 69, of McKinney, Texas passed away January 26, 2012. She was born December 27, 1942 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Raymond E. Pate and Rebecca Ruth (Piper) Pate. She graduated from McKinney High School in 1961, where she was a cheerleader, homecoming queen and voted most beautiful by her classmates. She was active with the McKinney Alumni Association. Bonnie graduated from Baylor University Dental School. She attended Unity Church in Dallas. Bonnie will be missed by countless treasured friends and “cousins”. She is survived by her sons, Judson Pate Joplin and wife, Sherry Morrison Joplin of McKinney, Texas, Jason “Jake” Keith Joplin and wife, Deanna Ellis Joplin of McKinney, Texas; BaNannie’s grandchildren, Mandy Joplin, Jonathan Joplin, Jacob Taylor and Rachael Taylor; sister, Peggy Nan Pate of Arlington, Texas; niece, Emily Rebecca McDearmon and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 4, 2012 in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Allen, Texas.
