Bonnie Latrice Stauffer

Dec 10 1979 - Oct 19 2017

Bonnie Latrice Stauffer, age 37, of McKinney, Texas, passed away October 19, 2017.  Bonnie was born December 10, 1979, in Chicago, Illinois, to Murphy Campbell and Regina (Blackman) Collier.  In a beautiful, beachside ceremony on April 28, 2001, she married Andrew Stauffer in Flagler Beach, Florida.  Following the ceremony, Andrew and Bonnie celebrated the start of their journey as husband and wife, with a reception in a place that was special in Bonnie’s heart – Disney World.  Over the years, Bonnie and Andrew welcomed their son, Tyrese and daughter, Hailee to their family.

Throughout her life, Bonnie demonstrated amazing drive, passion and an admirable work ethic.  In the late nineties, she attended the Brown Institute for TV and Radio Broadcasting.  In recent years, she was certified as an interior designer and event planner.  Bonnie was also employed with the Open House Network working for numerous home builders in the McKinney area.  In addition, she was a substitute teacher in the McKinney ISD and loved connecting with kids in the learning environment.  But what truly represented Bonnie and her passion, was in owning her own business, Southern Belle’z Events and Design.  She made customized shirts, beautiful wreaths, and other crafts which grace homes within the McKinney area and across the U.S.  Bonnie was a member of Covenant Church in McKinney.

She is survived by her husband, Andrew Stauffer of McKinney, Texas; son, Tyrese Stauffer; daughter, Hailee Stauffer; mother, Regina Collier  and husband, Bo of Houston, Texas; grandmother, Barbara; aunts, Cynthia and Yvette of Freeport, Texas; sister, Trina Blackman (nephews, Demetri and Delon) of Long Beach, Mississippi; brother, Reginald Moore, Sr. (nephew, Reginald Moore, Jr.) of Chicago, Illinois; and numerous other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Bonnie was a bright light in this world and will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all those whom she connected with throughout her many endeavors.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 26, 2017, at Covenant Church in McKinney, Texas.  The family will receive friends during a visitation from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., on Wednesday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
