Bonnie Jean (French) O’Dell, age 94, of Celina, Texas, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2019. She was born December 3, 1925, in Frost, Texas, to Annie (Ridgway) and Jim Mack French. Bonnie married the love of her life, Daniel Keith O’Dell, in Ft. Worth, Texas, on April 30, 1955, and they were blessed with three sons. She utilized her many talents as a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, as well as working as a long distance operator.
Bonnie is survived by her sons, Randy Keith O’Dell and his wife, Sawinder, of Little Elm, TX, Danny Thomas O’Dell and his wife, Mimi, of Double Oak, TX, and Mark Noel O’Dell and his wife, Kathy, of Princeton, TX; her grandchildren, Chuck and Eileen Maurer, John Forbes & family, Inderpal, Jaspal & Joginder Singh, and Casey Seals and his wife, Meagan; her great-grandchildren, Jacob and Landon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Daniel O’Dell; her sisters, Edna Robinson and Gladys Burge; and her brothers, Roy French, J.M. French, John French, Maurice French, C.E. French and Lonnie French.
A funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church, 841 N. Preston Rd., Celina, Texas, on Monday, December 16, 2019, at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Kevin Lykins and Dr. Raymond Horne. The family will receive friends at a visitation being held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 109 S. Oklahoma, Celina, Texas, on Sunday, December 15, 2019, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Interment is at Cottage Hill Cemetery following the funeral service on Monday.
