Bonnie Dell Cochran

Bonnie Dell Cochran, of Hilltop Lakes, Texas, passed away on November 13, 2013, in Madisonville, Texas. She was born July 17, 1927 in Waco, Texas, to Arthur and Mary Zelma (Wheeler) Neel. On February 2, 1943, Bonnie married Robert “Jim” Cochran in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She grew up in Hale Center, Texas. Bonnie was a painter (mostly acrylics), enjoyed making jewelry, and was an excellent seamstress. She played and taught Bridge for a number of years.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Cochran of Hilltop Lakes, Texas; children, Carroll Hoke and husband John of Joplin, Missouri, Stephen Cochran and wife Kathleen of Round Rock, Texas, Gerald Cochran and wife Tanya of Hilltop Lakes, Texas; eleven grandchildren; twenty nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Neel and wife Minnie of Hilltop Lakes, Texas.

 Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Mary Neel; sisters, Inez Donnelly and Betty Staffor

 A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Hilltop Lakes Chapel in Hilltop Lakes, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 18, 2013 at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation being held one hour prior to the graveside service.
