IN LOVING MEMORY

Bonita M. (Brown) Lowe

Sep 09 1937 - Nov 25 2023

Bonita (Brown) Lowe passed away Saturday evening, Nov 25th, at the age of 86.  Bonita was born Sept 9, 1937 to parents, Jodie and Ethel (Bell) Brown, and was raised with her six siblings in Foard County, Texas.

A mother of four, Bonita worked for many years as a bookkeeper and accountant at Litton Industries in Lubbock, Texas, and later at Texas Instruments in Dallas where she met her future husband, Arthur Lee Lowe. Bonita and Arthur were married Sept 3, 1977 in Clark County, Nevada and settled in Plano, Texas where she worked at Region 10 in Dallas until she retired.

Bonita had a sharp memory and loved to entertain and delight her loved ones with rich stories of her family history and memories of playful time spent with her grandchildren.  Bonita also had a keen eye for fashion and design and enjoyed shopping with and for her loved ones.  She and her husband, Arthur, enjoyed playing with and doting on their grandchildren, square-dancing, going out to dinner and movies, and watching old westerns on TV.  Bonita dearly loved her children and grandchildren, was cherished for her kindness and generosity, and was beloved by family and friends.

Bonita is preceded in death by her parents Jodie and Ethel (Bell) Brown, her sons Stanley Earl Johnson and Gregory Todd Johnson, her siblings Duard, Lewis, Pete, Hope and Ramona Brown, and her husband Arthur Lowe.

Bonita is survived by her sister Patricia Peters, her daughter Felicia Wyatt and spouse Robert, her son Jerry Johnson and spouse Catherine, her grandson AJ Johnson, granddaughter Abigail Johnson and spouse Roth Conrad, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Our very special thanks to Debbie Schigut and all the health care team. We are eternally grateful for their love, respect, and care for our Bonita.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Ridgeview Memorial Park 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Tuesday to pay their respects and to sign the register book.
