Bonita Doloris “Dee” Duvall Harris Young, 83, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of September 29, 2018. She was born September 9, 1935 in Etowah, Arkansas to Jessie Landon Duvall and Iva Lillian (Noble) Duvall. Upon graduation from Marked Tree High School, Bonita moved to Washington D.C. to work for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. When she returned to Marked Tree, she married Dwight McClendon Harris in June 1954. She moved to Yuma, Arizona and then to New Boston, Texas where she began her career in civil service in the personnel department at the Red River Army Depot and then retired. In retirement, she was a faithful member of West Side Missionary Baptist Church.
Bonita is survived by her daughter , Lisa Moore and husband Scott of Prosper, Texas; sister, Grace Morgan of Michigan; nephew, Billy Wallin of West Memphis, Arkansas; and grandson, Ryan Moore of Singapore .
Bonita was preceded in death by her husband Dwight M. Harris; parents, Landon and Lillian Duvall; sister, Faye Wallin and husband, Bill; sister, Sonia Bishop; niece, Susan Bishop; brothers, David Duvall, Larry Duvall, and Eugene Duvall and wife, Ronnie.
