Bobby Joe Bradley of Collinsville, Texas passed away on March 25, 2021 at the age of 76. He was born March 16, 1945 to Lewis G. and Alma “Tincy” Faye Pingleton Bradley in Twin Bridges Community, Celina, Texas. Bobby completed 11th grade in high school. He proudly served in the U.S. Army joining on March 26, 1962. He completed basic training in Fort Chaffee, Arkansas. Bobby was temporarily in Fort Meyers, Virginia in November of 1962 stationed by the Pentagon – South Post Fort Meyers, Virginia. He was then stationed in Hanau, Germany for 27 months. Bobby was honorably discharged on March 12, 1965 and from there he came home to Texas. He moved from Weston/Chambersville, Texas area in 2008 to Collinsville, Texas. He worked for GE Engine Services at Dallas Love Field Airport formerly known as, Southwest Airmotive, Avial and Ryder, until his retirement in 2008. He was a member of Chambersville United Methodist Church.
Bobby is survived by his sister, Pam Murray and husband, Scott of Allen, Texas; brother, James “Bubba” Bradley and wife, Joanne of Fairview, Texas; sister-in-law, Carolyn Bradley of Anna, Texas; nephew, Randy Bradley and wife, Shannon of Anna, Texas; nieces, Traci Long of Anna, Texas, Johnna Adams of Van Alstyne, Texas, Leisa Bradley of Fairview, Texas, Susie Benda and husband, Jeff of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Ashley Murray of Allen, Texas; 5 great nephews; 3 great nieces; 3 great-great nieces; 2 great-great nephews and numerous cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Tincy Bradley; 3 brothers, Teddy, Don and Johnny Bradley; grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Cottage Hill Cemetery in Celina, Texas.
