Bobby Glenn Addington

June 7, 1943 - April 7, 2021

Bobby Glenn Addington of McKinney, Texas passed away on April 7, 2021 at the age of 77. He was born on June 7, 1943 to L.A. and Eloise Frances (Russell) Addington in Farmersville, Texas.  Bobby graduated from Farmersville High School.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army in Vietnam and received an honorable discharge.  After coming home, Bobby went to work in the healthcare industry.  He continued in his career for over 50 years, retiring in 2015.  Bobby enjoyed his grandkids and great grandkids.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Ann of McKinney, Texas; children, Misty Trout and husband, Steve of McKinney, Texas, Bobby Addington, Jr. and wife, Kirby of Seabrook, Texas; grandchildren, Clayton Trout, Mason Latour and wife, Abbey, Tori Trout, and Jason Addington; great grandchildren, Beckham Trout, Maddie Rae LaTour, Hayden Ernest, and Emma Kay LaTour; sisters, Theresa Newberg and husband, Tony of Waco, Texas and Trina Burton and husband, Rick of Quanna, Texas; brother, Bryan Addington and wife, Adrian of Farmersville, Texas, Tim Addington and wife, Kim of Terrell, Texas, and Richard and wife, Sandra of McAlester, Oklahoma; and numerous other loving family and friends.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Christy Rae LaTour; brother, Jeff Addington; and sister, Linda Worley.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, April 16, 2021 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North in Allen, Texas.  Inurnment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North in Allen, Texas.  The service will be livestreamed at https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/bobby-glenn-addington.

I am so very sorry to hear about your loss. Bobby was the most precious man. I have very fond childhood memories of you both.. Your house was always open to all kids.
