Bobby J. Russell, age 82, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away March 18, 2018. Bobby was born July 9, 1935, in Bailey, Texas, to William Claude and Myrtle (Crownover) Russell. He married his first wife, Doris Elaine Pledger on November 16, 1962, she preceded him in death. Bobby then married JoAnn Wright on July 17, 1976, in Irving, Texas. He was a truck driver and retired from Central Freight Lines.
Bobby is survived by his sons, Todd Russell and wife, JoDawn of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Mark Warren and wife, Jennifer of Arlington, Texas, Bret Warren of California, and John Ledbetter and wife, Lexie of Coppell, Texas; daughter, Julie Casey and husband, Terry of Parker, Texas; grandchildren, Austin Russell, Preston Russell, Coleman Russell, Andrew Warren, Alex Warren, Olivia Warren, Zach Ledbetter, Josh Ledbetter, and Nina Joy Ledbetter; brother, Steve Russell and wife, Pam; and sister, Claudett Carlile and husband, Craig.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joann Russell, first wife, Doris Elaine Russell, grandson, Caden Ledbetter, and sister, Lorene Lawrence.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 24, 2018, at First Baptist Church, 1615 W. Louisiana St., McKinney, Texas, 75069. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Friday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen.
