A Graveside Service for Mr. Bobby Dean McBride, 82 year old Leonard resident, is scheduled for 10:30 A.M. Wednesday April 19, 2017 at the Ridgeview Cemetery at Allen.  Family viewing and visitation will be Tuesday April 18, 2017 from 6:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard.

Mr. McBride was born February 17, 1935 at Sherman.  His parents were Barney Thomas and Helen Pierce McBride.  He married Carolyn Elaine Robinson May 8, 1970 at McKinney.  He retired from Valspar Paint after working there for 43 years.  He attended the Gober Baptist Church for several years and was a member of the Masonic Lodge 761 of Trenton.  He loved life, especially the outdoors.  In his younger days, he especially enjoyed going to the lake.

Mr. McBride is survived by his wife, Carolyn McBride of Leonard, and his daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Kenneth Adams of Farmersville.  He is also survived by two nieces and two nephews.

Mr. McBride’s family wants to extend their sincere appreciation to the Guardian Care Hospice for their loving and professional care.  The family prefers that donations be made to the Gober Baptist Church in memory of Mr. McBride rather than to purchase flowers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Evans.
