IN LOVING MEMORY

Bobbie Marie Luttrall

Sep 14 1930 - May 03 2020

Texas native Bobbie Marie Luttrall of Wylie, Texas passed away on May 3, 2020 at the age of 89. Born September 14, 1930 in the home of her Grandmother Green to Frank A. and Bessie A. (Green) Hale in Altoga, Texas. From 1965 until her retirement in 1990 Bobbie worked as a Sales Administrative Supervisor for Hewlett Packard. During her tenure with Hewlett Packard many meaningful and life-long friendships were formed.

In February 1989 Bobbie married Winford V. Becton in Plano, Texas and eventually settled in Wylie, Texas, where she was very active in the community and an active member of the First Christian Church in Plano for many years. Bobbie loved to keep busy and quickly became involved with the Plano and Wylie Senior Centers, and a regular participant in the Plano Walking Club, Wylie Reading Club and the Red Hat Society. In addition, she was a board member of the Wylie Advocates for Senior Activities for several years.

She and Wynn loved to travel and enjoyed exploring the beauty of many wonders of the world such as Alaska and Hawaii. In her later years, her love of reading allowed her to travel through the pages of many books. Gardening was also a passion of Bobbie’s and her flowers always looked ready “for show”. Her children and grandchildren were her life and brought her an abundance of joy and happiness. Quiet, shy and a woman of few words, she loved every one of her children and grandchildren passionately and would have laid down her life for them. Bobbie was always there for her children, albeit exasperating at times. She respected and loved her dear friends, whom she always welcomed with open arms.

Bobbie is survived by her children, Jackie Shoulders-Dry and husband, Fred W. of Murphy, Texas, Alan Lee Luttrall of Phoenix, Arizona, Peggy Halter of Little Rock, Arkansas, James Preston Luttrall of Plano, Texas; 12 grandchildren, Laura Brewer, Lisa Spears, Michelle Attalah, Aaron Shoulders, Zach Smith, Nichole Jones, Kristin Toten, Joshua Luttrall, James David Luttrall, Jessica Luttrall, Daniel Luttrall, Joseph Luttrall; and 22 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Winford “Winn”.
